Join us to learn more about how the Nashville Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge was there when ACS Volunteers Tommy Gall and Amanda Crisp needed it most.

“Susan spent her entire life supporting life support others and serving the community around her. As an American Cancer Society volunteer, I am beyond grateful that the Hope Lodge was there to provide her with a Home Away from Home when she needed it most.”

The American Cancer Soceity’s Nashville Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge sits as a beacon of hope on Charlotte Avenue and is a place that many have called a home away from home. Over the past 20 years our Hope Lodge has provided over 250,000 nights of cost-free lodging for cancer patients and their caregivers who travel to Nashville, Tn to access top quality cancer care. Providing this lodging free of charge breaks down barriers that prevent cancer patients from accessing care that leads to survivorship.

Tommy and Amanda have been volunteers for the American Cancer Soceity’s Assocaite Board of Ambassadors and ACSCAN groups. When Tommy’s mother was diagnosed with cancer and was faced with how to best cancer her cancer treatment in Nashville while traveling from Jackson, Tennessee they knew the Hope Lodge was the place to go. During this year’s Discovery Ball Mission Moment Tommy and Amanda will share their personal story with the Hope Lodge and its invaluable impact on their story.
